I don't like being touched.

....okay, I had planned to get into this later, but it may be relevant and I need to ask.

Is there an incident that involved someone else that led to that aversion that wasn't just straight up violence?

Nope. Well...not the way you're thinking if I have to guess?

That would be a good guess.

I just needed to check. That's part of why this education is important. Its a documented fact a lot of children didn't know what was happening to them until they learned this stuff, so it bears checking.

Well that's a reason to end up hating someone. Which is an understatement.

I am unclear on Noodle Boy's ability in regards to that specifically, but I would not put it past the 72 transformations.

I can be whatever gender I wish, usually whatever way I'm choosing to present that day.

But two males having sex is a thing. As well as two females.

I guess that makes sense. I know that two men and two women can be in love, and I knew a werewolf who was a female human but a guy in any of his wolf forms.

Humans like to be too limiting in gender anyway.

Anyway.

Since biological imperatives are all about sending chemicals through the body to get it to do the things necessary for it to survive and reproduce, sex simply put, feels good. There is a lot of physical rewards to come out of sex, from feeling good in the moment, to lowering the stress levels, and overall just lifting one's mood.

And since a lot of stimulation is necessary to prepare the body for reproduction, because being prepared is inconvenient just going about one's day, there's actually a lot of body parts that get that sort of reaction. It makes it easier to work them up.

As such, sex does not require it to be for reproduction to feel good. Thus two of the same biological gender can have sex and have a good time. As can opposite genders while trying to avoid a baby.

[A long pause as several things from his last few months at home filter through his brain. One makes him blush faintly, then he looks a little uneasy.]

You mentioned lubricant. Do guys need it to?

Generally, yes.

Some creatures can get around it.

But usually when its two males, they need an outside source. Actual lube marketed for the act is best, but any kind of oil can do in a pinch as long as you use enough that it isn't absorbed fully into the skin.

Technically you can use water and spit and your own bodily fluids, but that would be a rough time and not recommended.

And if anyone talks about using blood as lube, you leave and call the scariest friend you trust because that's what we call a red flag and someone needs to be intimidated.

[Unless that's your kink, but that should come from an established arrangement that is an exception sort of thing.]

Lube also isn't remiss when a female is involved, especially when you're inexperienced. Better to have too much than too little.

If you're more interested in the mechanics of how the sex works, I have more slides at the end to go ahead over the usual methods, but it depends how interested you really are in those.

I honestly don't know how interested I would be. But it sounds like you mostly do it if you like and trust someone, right? Like you and MK, and I guess you and Saya?

Usually, yes. Some people can just use strangers they meet one night who they believe won't murder them, but usually there is some level of trust and specific affection.

I'm not sure. We...my friends and I...were talking about some...less than...pleasant things about blood lubricant in a different way, and he tossed it out there as easily as you'd talk about your favorite kind of music. All I knew at the time was we weren't talking about the same thing anymore.

[He pauses for thought on that little factoid.]

An important thing to know about sexuality is its no one size fits all. Sex may be about reproduction at its base, but there is also biological reasons why some people are only attracted to their own biological gender. That is to help a species to survive, because same gender couples can take on the children who lose their parents and that protects the species as a whole.

And there are some people who are have no interest in sex at all, or only under very specific circumstances and that helps population control. If everyone was having reproductive sex all the time, that drains on resources and will endanger the species.

Maybe, but turning it to a sex thing, from murder to oil a machine is... [He's not sure the word for it is in his vocabulary.]

Anyway, yeah. That all makes sense. I can see that. That is very...base though, since I'm pretty sure that's not a main thing for you and MK, right?

Just as some people almost never think about sex, some people think about it too much. I could not tell you why, its just a thing. What matters in this case is he respects your comfort.

This is all more to explain why these things exist, especially since you went through your life having no idea of all of this. It was extremely likely your interest was going to be low, so this all helps puts into perspective why and what is the point of all this even if you have no want to deal with it yourself.

Like a great many biological things, people who can think more beyond their instinct start associating emotions to the things they do. Why they chose the specifications in how they do things.

Sex is often one of two priorities outside of biology and that is to either feel good or for specific fondness to love. You don't need to be in full love to have sex, but some people need a stronger emotional connection than the casual to feel good business. Other reasons exist, but most of the time, its going to be one of those.

People can pursue sex casually because it physically feels good to do and all the various health benefits that make life nicer.

As for fondness, its a way to feel close to someone. There is a certain level of trust inherent in sex because obviously, most people are rather vulnerable when they're probably not wearing anything with someone's hands all over them. Its a way to have a nice time with someone you care about. A bonding experience. That sort of thing.

Uh...huh... ["It's good that you have your memories back though. You were pretty useless without them. Like, more useless than me."]

Is it hard to realize what you're feeling about a person like that? And...can you do it in your sleep?

The physical attraction? Once you know the physical signs of arousal, that will become fairly obvious if the attraction is substantial enough. And yes, you can realize it in your sleep. Its a phenomenon called a wet dream, where you essentially dream of having a sexual encounter.

If you mean fondness to love?

That realization gets to be a lot more complicated and difficult depending on life experience.

It also bears saying sexual attraction does not guarantee love and love does not guarantee sexual attraction. You can be attracted to someone you despise on every other level, and you can feel love without ever wanting to so much as kiss the other person.

I've seen someone have a wet dream then. [Seen is an understatement, but that's not important right now. Nope.]

I could guess that. I know someone who flirts a lot. A lot. I don't know if he has sex with them all...but there's no way it's romantic with all of them.

But how did you know for example? You have two people, right?

Almost definitely not. At some point, you can't even hope to schedule all that properly.
