Geez, you must really think I've lost my edge.

[ The thing is... he's not wrong. But Korone already woke up and laid on him for an hour, so. ]

We should make some coherent plan for the pendant situation, but I could put it off a while. Especially if you're going to groom me for a while. [ Another grin ]

[His hand rests on his arm, definitely healed down.] It does look a messier than usual. [Probably from all that kid laying.]

There haven't been that many changes. [ Said the liar who actually thinks he's telling the truth overall. He hasn't changed that much, he's just not obsessed with Wukong anymore. ]

I spent the last 20 hours in a clinic, of course it's a mess. That more than the monsters got me all ruffled, the monsters weren't a challenge. I just wanted to kill them slower.

Debatable. [Its extreme and he's just feeling out the space.]

[He hums, hand moving down his arm to grab his hand. Then is going to tug him to the stairs.] Always a shame when you have to rush an earned decimation of enemy. Let me fix your hair and you can show me those tattoos.

[ He drops the "how many changes have there been?" argument mainly because he doesn't want to start dodging actual questions. Instead he moves with that tug, only offering token resistance. ]

Just the one tattoo, for now. I wouldn't be opposed to more of them as long as no one touches my coat.

[Leading him upstairs and to his room.]

They would be hidden by your coat anyway. I think. I'm pretty sure hair still grows through tattoos.

[ He will let himself be led along for now. Perhaps the last following he'll do for a while. ]

In that case, why bother? Unless they all come with powers.

[Into his room and closing the door with a foot, hand moving up to tug at his shirt.]

[ He's just screwing with Red Son, but why not do more of it? he doesn't resist being tugged in closer. ]

I'm sure you can guess what the image is. [ C'mon, it's obvious. ]

You are plenty pleasing to me. But pretty art on top doesn't hurt.

Well, considering 'shadow' is a very broad spectrum for art...the Moon?

[Guiding him over to the bed, loosening his shirt. He did say he was going to groom him. It'd be rude to not do it at least a little.]

[ On his chest is indeed the moon, in a manner of speaking... a lunar eclipse. The moon without the sun's light. The black-on-black shape of the moon is surrounded by a silver corona. ]

[He sets the shirt to the side, hands going to his shoulders, running fingers through his fur, looking over the tattoo.]

Its very symbolic. [Very extra too, but that fits with Macaque.] I'll make sure to show more appreciation later, but if you lay down on your stomach, I can groom you. Help you relax before we do something more...exciting.

[ Who even is he without the extra? (They'll all find out in short order.) ]

Hmm. [ Macaque makes a show of thinking it over, and then his tail wraps around Red Son's waist to pull him in close. ] One thing first.

[ His hands cup Red Son's face and pulls him into a kiss. Slow and almost sweet, it seems he's picking up right where they left off last time, that fledgling intimacy. Still want to argue about how he's changed? ]

[Red Son blushes a bit at being pulled close, but leans into the kiss all the same.]

[What's a surprise is how sweet and slow it is, expecting something more wanting and hungry instead of the gentle intimacy and it makes his heart skip a beat.]

[It makes for confusing feelings, questions, but its nice. He likes it. He just wonders at this change.]

[He still kisses back all the same, fingers gently brushing over an ear.]

[ He'll get to wanting and hungry, don't you worry. It's just that he didn't mind the softer feelings before, so he's taking it for more of a test drive, and finding that it wasn't a one-time thing. And Red's heart skipping like that certainly helps. ]

[ He lowers the glamours around his ears and lets his flick encouragingly into Red's touch. Just enjoying that soft kiss and in no hurry to get anywhere. ]

[ He spends another few, pleasant moments kissing Red before gently pulling back and retracting his hands and moving to lay face down on the bed, as instructed, his tail swaying to and fro with lazy contentment. ] Go on then, relax me.

[It's nice. It's weird. It's far too fast to not be suspicious, but he feels drawn in all the same. His other hand moving up, both gently cradling his ears, gently tracing fingers over them, a slow, careful rub.]

[He's still blushing when Macaque pulls away, heart racing, but let's him go. Taking a deeper breath to steady himself.]

[What is his heart doing?]

[He shakes his head. He said he'd relax him and he'd do it. Climbing onto the back, and straddling Macaque. Hands moving to his fur, tracing up the length of his back before slowing down. Fingers working through smaller patches of fur, undoing tangles left from sleeping in odd places, at times rubbimg a few moments to help work through any knots in hus back.]

[ Macaque ignores the heart rte leaping forward, mainly because he assumes at least part of it is coincidence, maybe Red got reminded of something else. While a little insulting to be distracted while kissing someone, it happens to the best of them. ]

[ Macaque starts purring almost immediately, and his tail wraps around Red's waist. ]

You do have clever fingers, don't you. [ Not a question really. ]

[Its weird. He had Macaque tied up once. Tied up and relaxed without the ability to feel negative emotions, which while not necessarily helpless, is still a fairly vulnerable way to be.]

[Why does getting to groom him and take care of him like this feel so much more intimate?]

[His hands continue to work anyway, feeling the rumbling under his palms as he slowly moves down along his spine.]

Hm, I've had a lot of practice. You'd be surprised how many things need tightening and loosening without being able to look at it directly.

Yeah? Are you trying to wind me up tight or loosen me up right now? [ Just curious. ]

[ He continues purring, the tip of his tail idly stroking along Red's flank. ]

Tell me about one of your projects. Past or present. I like hearing you talk about them.

Loosening first. We'll get to tightening later. [Working a knuckle against a knot.]

[A small shiver at the stroking. His tail really does feel soft.]

Well, I've started working on my own airship now. I have my license, so at least I shouldn't be bothered. [Which is the only reason to get it, he hardly needed the lessons.] It'll take a while to complete, I like knowing the full capabilities of my own own vehicles and their means of flying are a little different than what we have back home...

[He will definitely go on at length, both in how the means of flying are different and what he plans to do with his own airship here, while working on those knots, both hair and muscles.]

[ He makes a soft noise when that knuckle digs in, not a displeased one by a longshot. It's more than a grunt, less than a groan. ] Remind me not to let someone sleep on me over the arms of two chairs. [ That said, he'd do it again. ]

[ Macaque asks the occasional question, some of them more basic but all of them intelligent and relevant. ]

You're not good at being idle, are you?

[Red Son is very good at diverting the tangent to answer the question as thoroughly as he can.]

[He loves teaching, okay.]

No, I'm not. Even with my family's sabbatical, most of the time anything that isn't family time, or Dragon Girl trying to convince me to visit, its working on something. Bull clones, improvements to the fortress, my vehicles.

I asked him to come take care of Korone while she was maybe dying. Of course he had a breakdown after she was safe and asleep. I knew they both wanted him to be there, and I needed someone to manage her while I dealt with the threats, but I still felt responsible. [ And he was crying and Macaque is weak to that when it's someone he likes, as Red knows. ]

Once I get better versed in the limits of your technology I should challenge you to build something impossible, just so I can watch you do it. [ Macaque lives for that sort of thing, not only watching people do something they love and are great at, but being a pain in the ass. ]

It was sweet of you. [PECULIAR. But sweet.]

Ha! Nothing is impossible for me. [There is definitely a lot of pomp in that, working out another knot in his side. There's a few there, probably from being bent over that arm.] I got off Heaven's precious gift and moved Wukong's staff, and you should know how hard it is to move that stick. Good luck finding something harder than that. Its all just a question of time.

I do my best. [ Oh come on, it's not that peculiar. He supported Red Son through a breakdown before his brain surgery, it happens. ]

Unless you want to invent a robot that can defeat Sun Wukong. [ Just saying. ]
