Appearance
Eyes: Gold, usually with sunglasses. Hair: Red and sometimes made of literal fire. Height: 5'4 Skin: Tan. Body Type: Very svelte, muscular, and more on the androgynous side. Scars: A angled cross on his cheek. He has a few slashed scars along his upper arms. He has a ring of scars around his neck, usually covered. Other: Generally has pointed ears and weirdly sharp canines. However, there are times he can have horns, bull like ears, or a bull like tail because shapeshifting is just a Thing in JttW.
Notes on Fire and Pronouns in Threads
Fire: Whenever I bring up fire in tags with Red Son, it should be noted the only things that ever catch fire is what I say catch fire. So even if he sets his entire body on fire, nothing else is going to catch on fire unless specified. Red Son has shown an exceptional amount of control over his fire even in his loudest rages, in close proximity to others who set him off, and even within extremely confined spaces. The most that can be assumed is soot will spread unless he wants something to burn.
Pronouns: Word of god says Red Son "can not be contained by one measly gender and will be taking all the genders" and frankly, love that for them and canon hasn't contradicted it. The fact he gets so annoyed at 'Red Boy' only some of the time can even be taken as evidence as well as some other stuff. Red Son is a Son, but not necessarily a boy. As such, Red Son will respond to any pronouns and most genders though they might be prickly about one on certain days. I will usually default to he, but times where she'd be especially feeling like a them or a she, I will do that switch.
Canon Abilities
Magic Source: An extremely powerful pyrokinetic and any active magic he uses come from a fire base. Thus all powers have fire as aesthetic flavor. He can ignite fire, put it out, manipulate it, the whole nine yards. He's been able to get hot enough to burn through crystal, and magic. As mentioned, he has very fine control of it, where he can keep fire from setting his own Very Flammable Clothes on fire and use it around people without burning them. He can also use it to fly by rocketing himself with the flames, but he can't hover or go slow.
Teleportation: He is able to teleport, but it takes several seconds to achieve and anyone who gets into the fiery 'spell circle' can come along for the ride. So its not an effective tool in a fight, but good for travel and escapes as long as he's not being restrained by a person. He could also do a spell circle for interdimensional travel, but that is currently nerfed obviously.
Ritual Caster: If he knows a ritual, he can perform it. Essentially, he can learn more magic with instruction as long as it just needs A Power Source and not a Certain Kind. Like he could probably learn DnD magic, or DBZ stuff, but not magical girl magic.
Samadhi Fire: He is the origin of the Samadhi Fire, but he had it removed when he was a toddler due to safety issues. However, he has shown the sparks of achieving the fire again and canon may also give it back to him wholesale in the future. The Samadhi Fire is a fire that cannot be extinguished and can in theory be used to burn all of reality and forge a new one. If he ends up achieving this again, it will be nerfed for Whatever Is Fun In A Thread.
Mild Shapeshifting: Red Son can't do anything truly impressive, but he can look completely human if he so wishes, or show more traits from his father. (This is headcanon, but honestly there is So Much Shapeshifting in the JttW and in theory anyone can learn it in LMK canon itself, so I let him have an optional bulltail because his appearance is already partially interpretation anyway. It may also come up in a future season because they still haven't brought up a big part of Red Boy's backstory)
Immortality: He will live forever unless he's killed and that is hard to do. Not impossible, but either it takes some really powerful magic, or doing something like removing his head and keeping it away from his body long enough for it to decide he's not getting it back and dying. He can however still feel pain and while his tolerance is high, it can incapacitate him. But if he doesn't die, and there isn't strong magic involved, he can heal from basically anything in time. He can reattach limbs, though he can't regrow them. This however can be nerfed when stakes are necessary or more fun.
Enhancements: He's faster, and strong than humans. He can't run like the flash, but he can sprint fast enough to be very hard to track visually and while he can't throw a car, he can definitely throw people pretty far and hits like a truck.
Resistances: He is immune to normal fire and magical fire will take a while to do damage. (He's taken Samadhi Fire point blank better then anyone else, even one with the Monkey King's power.) He doesn't drown (though being trapped in water will not be great for him), he can't be hurt by normal poisons, or normal diseases. He can also eat spicy food that could literally kill a man.
Meditation: He can achieve very deep meditation, which helps control his fire, but it also means he can use it to bolster his own mental defenses. Telepaths and empaths can still get into his head, but if he's given warning, he can make it a great deal harder.
Fashion
A lot of red and a lot of edge. He prefers fitted clothes and ones that allow him to look dramatic. He will usually wear a long red coat, but he also likes sleeveless turtlenecks, and jeans with a lot of loose straps.
Demeanor & Attitude
A lot of his bark is worst than his bite, though his bite is still pretty bad when he decides to follow through. Red Son is very prideful, will often demean those around him, and is very quick to anger. However, there is also a sense of control to him because despite how often he sets himself on fire in his rage, his fire never touches things he doesn't mean to set on fire. He's a manic sort, passionate and excitable, but there is a wisdom that can come out in surprising ways. He isn't one to verbally express his care or affection for people (he is very tsundere), but he is also very dedicated to those he has decided to care about, and will always give his all for those he's working with. A self claimed villain, and he really doesn't have a good moral compass, but finds himself playing hero a distressing amount. There is a mix of honor and keeping up the composure of a demon prince, where he can pull off as belonging in a court setting, at least until his temper flares up. He always keeps his promises, including implied ones.

Fourth Walling: Kind of Yes. The Journey to the West is an historical fact and thing people know in LMK. However, LMK has a modified JttW. So I am find with people knowing the REAL JttW because I think it would be Very Funny to confuse Red Son with it. (Don't ask about Guanyin because canon hasn't addressed that part of his backstory and there is a good chance it'll come up in season 5.)
