It's not something you can undo, but you're not the child you were. You saw Mei control it, so you know it can be done. And I can't believe you'd even think about reforging it if you didn't believe you could manage it.

I mean, yes. [He wants the Shadowpeach to get along, it doesn't HAVE to be romantic, as long as they're happy. He knows the romantic feelings make it complicated.]

It just seems sudden. [Eventually getting over the feelings is good, but he knows that isn't generally a quick process.]

Be fair, he was the one thing I was a disaster about, which wasn't any fun for me and I know it wasn't for him.

You experienced what you thought was a one-sided love for a couple of weeks, can you really not tell me that it wouldn't be a relief to be rid of that? Presuming you were outright told it wasn't going to happen, of course.

That is an extremely complicated and involved subject for me specifically, considering MK was the milder version of that.
