Christmas Gift

[On the 24th Red Son will find a box with his name along with a holiday card that reads,]

Merry Christmas!

[Inside the box are three things. A smaller box labeled From your not so secret Santa, a small bag of chocolates and a personalized chess set!

Inside the smaller box is a medicine chest with a carved border of leaves, that Arrakis has repurposed as a spice rack with all kinds of local spices, especially spicy ones for Red Son to broaden his culinary horizons with.

His chocolates are shaped like a flame and they are as spicy as Arrakis could make them. They also have a hint of cinnamon and coffee. Cinnamon for him being a comforting presence for Arrakis and coffee because Red Son has seen the uglier side of his magic and still stayed as his friend.

The board itself is wooden with light wood from the white squares and black wood that has been made to look like it's scorched for the black ones. The lighter wood squares have a flame painted on them and the border for his board is made of many, polished nails, creating a striped, metallic design. It's his way to thank Red Son for what he said to him on the network. Carved on the bottom of one of the black knights are Arrakis's initials, AF.]
