Location: The dungeon of Castle Emberglow
Hours: Equivalent 10 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday are official business hours.
Entrance: There will be an entrance that leads directly to the forge outside so people don't need to go into the main castle to get to it. It has a sign of the business name directing people to the right door.
Nook: Customers will have a nice nook to spend their time in, with complimentary tea and coffee!
Newbie Special: Any new arrival will be offered two things! One is a free, plain basic weapon. Like sword, dagger, bow and arrow, something like that. If someone desires a customized weapon, they can turn in their basic weapon for a 10 percent discount!
Two is a basic dishware pack. (1 bowl, 1 plate, 1 fork, 1 spoon, 1 kitchen knife, 1 small pot, 1 cup.)
Prices: Competitive and reasonable prices for the work provided. (He is very much cheaper than Wanderlust.)
Quality: Nothing leaves the shop without Red Son performing a quality control test, so everything is very solidly built, functional, and well balanced, from the ornately decorated to the simplest blade. He's a perfectionist and he's had centuries of experience.
General Merchandise: Anything made of metal and glass that a old time forge can be used to make, they can make. It is possible to make things that are more modern and complicated, but it will take a lot more time because machines make a huge difference. The cheapest stuff is simply made things, but there is definitely an appreciation for Aesthetics so getting fancier looking weapons or metal/glass decorations off the rack is also possible.
There is also an offer of more complicated weapons. Reaching RWBY level nonsense will be difficult, but there is definitely potential for transforming weapons and weapons combined with guns. Guns are also on offer for Dreamers, though there will be some
vetting, and think of guns as generally being on the level of a revolver.
Magical Weapons cannot be done.

Guns and anything that requires being machinery or transformations, that I'll need contact because I actually know how to build stuff like this to a certain degree so I just want to be honest on how viable some of it is with the set up. Also its probably more expensive and may need to figure out special prices.

He would absolutely work with her to make a steam-powered pump. Steam engines are fairly simple as long as you can make something air tight. Which takes a lot of care, but still doable. He would also advised for her not to use ocean water because otherwise she will have to clean really regularly because the salt will make a crust.

Either way, I'd be down to thread out his first visit to the forge to redeem this gift certificate, too, if you're open to new CR/new threads! Alberto will be very excited to get his first weapon ever (a terrifying idea for everyone else lol) so he'll definitely have a blast on his visit. I'm just as happy to handwave and decide on details here OOC, though, if that's better for you.

Technically everyone gets one free (simple) weapon and Red Son will not deny a child a weapon. (More prone to give safety tips, but he was using a spear as a toddler so like. His judgement is just Like This.)
As for the gift certificate, its probably something Blake will make, though Red Son will offer to help if its something complex. In which case Alberto can just go wild in what he asks for. Red Son has limitations by the facilities, but hey if Alberto wants a transforming weapon, he can certainly see what can be done.

Finnick uses a trident like this, which is technically a basic weapon but it's a little bit uncommon so I'm kinda like. Wondering if it counts as simple lol
Also, in canon his genius inventor friend Beetee makes him his own specialized trident which seems able to a) contract to be more compact and less pointy and dangerous for travel and b) has a button on his wrist that calls the trident back to him after he throws it, Thor's hammer style. It is not magical, just tech.
I'm wondering if Red Son could work with him on either of these things! I submitted it for rewards but the mods said he could probably just get a basic trident in town, so I am wondering about the more advanced one.

He can also make it contract easily enough. He can also do the return thing, it would just take a few weeks for him to figure out. (Its probably magnets. Its always magnets.) I think its doable with RWBY level transformations being allowed as long as it can't be thrown like a mile or something like that.

Can be done. And its shop shards, so I don't need Real Shards that go to the Crystal. (Essentially, its the shards people would be getting from their offscreen interactions or jobs is the way I've always took it.)

Red Son
Things Red Son will do:
PPE is a 'do as I say, not as I do' because he makes sure everyone else is safe. The most he wears is something to cover his whole face because he doesn't want shrapnel in his eyes, and even then, its not an all the time thing.
This man will wear tank tops while doing work.
He will grab red hot metal to move it around with his bare hands.
He will stick in hands directly into the fire.
He will treat molten metal and glass like play doh.
If he hasn't slept for A While, will mistake a crucible full of metal for his coffee and drink it and just wonder why his coffee tastes like lead.
If anything manages to take off a finger, he'll sit down for like ten minutes, just holding it in place until it attaches and just be Annoyed about it.
He will cackle madly when he gets something that was complicated to FINALLY COME TOGETHER.
He will light himself on fire, usually his hair, usually when he's mad, and then just be fine a minute later. (As a note, this fire will never come near something flammable, including other people.)
Will rapidly switch from a tough, but fair and patient teacher, to an extremely friendly customer service smile, to annoyed at literally everything existing around him demeanors on a dime.
He has also a very good The Most Friendly And Earnest Customer Service Facade, But Is Almost Definitely Planning To Murder You when he's trying to be patient with a customer.
Sometimes he will just have bull body parts, namely ears, horn, and tail. He is a secret bull kemonomimi.
Gun Vetting
However, comment to this thread either way so we're aware who got a gun from Flame and Claw.
Any and all guns also comes with a contract that says any usage of guns against the townsfolk or other Dreamers outside of self defense, defense of others, or consented usage between the two parties, will result in forfeit of ownership of the gun and it is to be surrendered to those of the Flame and Claw or the Defense Group. Red Son can and will forcefully retrieve it if its not surrendered.
