Red Son knew the timing was going to be off. He skipped last year, probably because he ARRIVED in spring, so his biological clock couldn't adjust. But his clock had had more than enough time to adjust and it knew spring was here.
The sighs did come. It isn't as immediately apparent to some as to others, but the moment customers came in, he couldn't even try to put on his customer service face. Their very presence was grating on his nerves. Usually they would need to at least SPEAK first.
It took an hour for him to realize what was up, which is when he told Blake he had to go on his """vacation""" and immediately retreated to his room.
There were already supplies there. Food and water to help him keep him up.
It was....
A while longer before he messaged Sky. You should come to my room tomorrow. Inform everyone you need to that you'll be hard to reach for the next week or so.
Whatever counts as spare clothes. There's a lot of food, but if you want anything specific. Painkillers? Probably painkillers. I know you're active, but it is likely to be intense. Anything potent to put me to sleep wouldn't be remiss as a precaution. Maybe more water. I have some, but you dehydrate more.
Probably for the best to give her a day to prepare anyway. Night Sky tossed out a few texts, brewed a handful of extra strength magical plant potions to help him sleep, and dragged a barrel of water to his bedroom door the night before (a sound he probably heard before Night Sky left him alone again). She had everything set by the next morning, and was knocking on his door quietly.
Red Son overs the door, in loose fitting clothing, horns, ears, and tail already out, flicking behind him. Behind him, the bedroom is just...covered in a stupid amount of candles. So many candles. As well as boxes of food and water.
The bed, usually immaculately made is...well, not a mess, but its unconventional, with so many pillows and more blankets and animals pelts to be made extra soft and the curtains of the bed already mostly closed to give a more closed off feeling.
His eyes are focused on her, pupils pinpricks. "You sure you wish to be here?" His voice is low, rough.
Upon entering the room, Night Sky carefully set her bag of supplies down beside the door and took a good look around. He was unsurprisingly well prepared for what was likely to be a wild week - plenty of candles to burn through when his fire flared. The bed looked cozy, in her opinion, reminiscent of her own room inside the castle.
She turned to face him, eyes darting from tail to ears to horns. She smiled. "Of course, my love. I wouldn't make you suffer this alone." She replied. Night Sky had come in her usual attire of nearly nothing, leaves barely covering breasts and between her thighs; easily removed when he needed them gone. "I'm here for you, so tell me what you need."

I'll bring a few potions that should at least make you drowsy, if not put you to sleep outright.
I can get everything else, too. Why am I not coming over tonight?

I'm in the nesting stage and I'll just be irate and snappy until its right.

Cute... I'll see you tomorrow then.
