Yes. If I lose it, then it needs to be dealt with quickly, before the fire can spread to more than can be smothered. [Its not like they're gonna have an ocean to dump on it a second time.]
I think so. The Dragon Girl was able to give more insight. Her strong sense of self was certainly a factor in her managing control despite her inexperience, but the Noodle Boy was able to pacify her using emotions. I think its also what helped push her the last little bit to make it her own. Hopefully it was just feelings of friendship and not morals.
Either way, not the thing I'd bet on for why I wouldn't burn down the world.
No. Its just been a thought that keeps coming up, but I've been dealing with more pressing things, both projects and emotions...its never been the priority.
And I can't deny it makes me...nervous.
Its not really something I can undo. Its not exactly an easy thing to remove.
But being nervous is also not conductive for control.
[ Aren't they? MK existing in this world seems like an okay thing to bet on as for why Red Son wouldn't burn it away. ]
It's not something you can undo, but you're not the child you were. You saw Mei control it, so you know it can be done. And I can't believe you'd even think about reforging it if you didn't believe you could manage it.
Just...in theory. [He sighs, rubbing at his face.] In theory I could. I've seen it done. I've just also seen what happens if its not under control.
I should also probably talk to Noodle Boy about it.
Debating Wukong. He doesn't really have a right to decide what I do, but he did put in a lot of effort to remove it, so it seems like I should at least offer him the courtesy to voice an opinion.
Wukong also went to a lot of trouble to reforge it without mentioning it to you or to Mei, I'm just pointing that out. But you're not necessarily wrong.
[Its less a 'relationship status thing' as 'have to deal with being a hero in their world' thing.]
[Plus he can't see a reason for Saya to be against Red Son creating the fire if he decided he wanted to. Now as support while he's trying, that's a whole different story, but the before less important.]
Oh, I have gotten onto him about that. Seriously, step one after getting the map should have been to at least talk to mother and I about it.
But blindsiding him probably wouldn't go well regardless.
I'd offer to help, but you're going to tell me that's not necessary, right? [ Just casually offering to talk to Wukong like it doesn't bring up any huge clashing feelings at all, nothing different here nope!!! ]
You speaking on my behalf for something like this might make him think we do have something, you know? [Its a half joke. Wukong PROBABLY wouldn't think it, but it really isn't something for Macaque to speak on his behalf for.]
Don't look so surprised. When you shoot someone down, they're eventually going to move on. He made his choice. [ Macaque doesn't sound bitter or sad or anything, it's just a casual statement of fact. ]
All evidence points to you being fine at seducing me so far. I'm just saying.
I mean, yes. [He wants the Shadowpeach to get along, it doesn't HAVE to be romantic, as long as they're happy. He knows the romantic feelings make it complicated.]
It just seems sudden. [Eventually getting over the feelings is good, but he knows that isn't generally a quick process.]
Stop fretting before I start feeling like I need to sedate you. It's fine. Better than fine; he gets what he wants, and I stop wanting more than I have. Take a win when you hear it, yeesh.
...maybe I'm just used to us being emotional disasters. [Is that it. None of the rest of them know how to deal with their feelings, that its weird when someone does actually just move on????]
[Like maybe he did just needed a solid rejection??????????????]
Be fair, he was the one thing I was a disaster about, which wasn't any fun for me and I know it wasn't for him.
You experienced what you thought was a one-sided love for a couple of weeks, can you really not tell me that it wouldn't be a relief to be rid of that? Presuming you were outright told it wasn't going to happen, of course.

Your morals are fine, it's the ethics I'd question. Not that I'm throwing stones about it, I'm just saying there's a difference.

So what if he does? It's not his business.
[ Yep all normal here, fully 100% nothing weird ]

[He raises an eyebrow. He expect some snark, but this is a bigger reaction than he expected.]
True, true. Really, it would serve him right, my efforts wouldn't be half bad as seduction attempts.

........
That is an extremely complicated and involved subject for me specifically, considering MK was the milder version of that.
